About Us
The Temple is formed for any lawful purpose or purposes not expressly prohibited under the Act. The Temple is organized and shall be operated exclusively for spiritual, religious, charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended. Not withstanding the foregoing, the Corporation’s purposes also include the limited participation of the Corporation in any other activities, including taxable activities, but only to the extent the activities would be permitted by a tax-exempt organization.
- To provide a place of worship for the devotees of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba and to follow the spiritual teachings of Sri Shirdi Sai Baba through Sai Satcharitra.
- To provide a place for Sri Satya Sai Baba bhajans and other Hindu Vedic rituals like Rudrabhishekam, Vishnunama Sahasram to name a few.
- To sponsor or support religious, cultural, educational, and charitable activities or organizations in the United States and around the world. To strive for spiritual richness and human excellence through assimilation of values of Hindu scriptures into daily life.
- To establish and maintain a community worship place for the purpose of conducting Hindu religious, educational, cultural, literary, and performing arts activities consistent with the primary objective as stated above.
Our History
In 2001 several Indian families in Cincinnati started meeting once a month for Satsang for chanting of Ganapathi Adharva Seersham, Vishnu Sahasra Namam, Lakshmi Ashtottaram, Devi Stotram, Hanuman Chalisa, Bhajans and concluding with Baba Arathi.
- Feb 19th, 2005 the group decided to meet once every week, on Saturdays. As this group size grew, need for a common place of worship was felt.
- May 21st, 2010 Articles of registration were filed with the State of Ohio to register “Sri Saibaba Temple of Greater Cincinnati” as a Hindu religious non-profit organization.
- Dec 11th, 2010 Grand opening ceremony and prathista was held at 9405 Columbus Cincinnati Road, West Chester as a temporary temple.
- Jun 12th, 2013 New temple site 723 Western Row Rd Mason OH was purchased.
- Feb 13th, 2014 a festive gruhapravesh ceremony was held to inaugurate the new temple.
- Nov 6th, 2016 Baba idol Prana Prathista was held.
