🎶 About the Artists
We are delighted to present a dynamic lineup of accomplished vocalists and instrumentalists for this year’s Annual Fundraiser — bringing together playback music, classical artistry, and the excitement of a live band.
🎤 Sri Krishna – Playback Singer
Sri Krishna is an accomplished Indian playback singer whose career began in 2004. He gained widespread recognition with “Aadinchi Ashta Chamma” from Ashta Chamma and has since recorded for prominent music composers.
His vocals on the hugely popular “Kurchi Madathapetti” from Guntur Kaaram earned him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer – Telugu.
🎤 Anjana Sowmya – Playback Singer
Anjana Sowmya is a classically trained playback singer who entered the film industry in 2006 with “Mounamenduku” from Classmates, composed by Koti. She has recorded film songs in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam and has worked with noted composers including Koti, Chakri, Anoop Rubens, Mickey J Meyer, Vidyasagar and Thaman S.
Her background in classical and light music, combined with her experience as a playback and live performer, brings a wonderful versatility to the stage.
🎼 Phani Narayana – Veena | Founder, String Wings
Phani Narayana is a seventh-generation Veena artist and founder of the music band String Wings. With more than two decades of experience teaching Veena and vocals, his musical journey encompasses classical, devotional and contemporary music.
He has been associated with TTD since 2005 and with Art of Living, where he participated in large-scale Veena performances as a music director and core performer. His recorded works include Magical Veena, Amazing Veena, Carnatic instrumentals and numerous devotional compositions.
🎶 Dr. V. Ramachandra Murthy – Flute
Dr. V. Ramachandra Murthy brings the expressive and soulful sound of the Indian flute to this year’s musical celebration.
His flute adds another beautiful dimension to the evening, complementing the vocals and Veena and creating a rich live instrumental experience.
🥁 String Wings – Live Band
Founded by Phani Narayana, String Wings brings the artists together with the excitement and richness of live musical accompaniment.
Together, this talented ensemble promises a spectacular evening of live music — combining powerful vocals, beautiful instrumentation and the energy of a live band for a celebration to remember!

What is the Annual Fundraiser?
The Annual Fundraiser is a signature event organized by Sri SaiBaba Temple of Greater Cincinnati (SSTGC) to bring the community together for an evening of cultural entertainment and collective giving. It provides an opportunity for devotees to participate, enjoy music and fellowship, and contribute toward supporting the temple’s financial needs.
Why do we need an Annual Fundraiser?
While monthly donations help cover the temple’s routine expenses, they leave very little margin for maintenance or improvements. The Annual Fundraiser helps generate additional support to strengthen the temple’s finances and fund important projects that enhance the devotee experience.
How will the funds be used?
Funds generated net expenses will go toward:
Capital projects (e.g., Dining Hall construction)
Contingency reserves
Maintenance and improvements for better devotee experience
All financial decisions are made by the Management Committee in accordance with temple bylaws, with full transparency to the community.
Are the artists performing free of cost as this is a temple event?
No. The artists are exclusively travelling to perform for our temple and charge a professional fee for their performances.
Can we sing along with the artists?
For the comfort of the artists and to maintain sound quality, attendees are not allowed to sing along on stage. However, audience participation through clapping and cheering is encouraged.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Attendees are expected to dress appropriately, maintaining the decorum of a temple event.
Can we bring our kids for free?
Children over 2 years of age require a ticket. Kids under 2 may attend free of charge but must be seated on a parent’s lap.
Can I choose any name for the Donor Wall?
Yes. Donors may specify the name (individual, family, or business) to be displayed on the Donor Wall.
Is babysitting available?
No. Babysitting services are not provided. Parents are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.
Is transportation provided?
No. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue.
In what languages will the artists perform?
The performance will include a balanced mix of Indian languages. The selection will be guided by the audience composition and ticket purchases.
Can we bring food from outside?
No. Outside food is not permitted. However, refreshments will be available for purchase and can be enjoyed in designated dining areas.
