Here you’ll find answers to common questions about the event, including ticketing, seating, donations, and participation guidelines.
What is the Annual Fundraiser?
The Annual Fundraiser is a signature event organized by Sri SaiBaba Temple of Greater Cincinnati (SSTGC) to bring the community together for an evening of cultural entertainment and collective giving. It provides an opportunity for devotees to participate, enjoy music and fellowship, and contribute toward supporting the temple’s financial needs.
Why do we need an Annual Fundraiser?
While monthly donations help cover the temple’s routine expenses, they leave very little margin for maintenance or improvements. The Annual Fundraiser helps generate additional support to strengthen the temple’s finances and fund important projects that enhance the devotee experience.
How will the funds be used?
Funds generated net expenses will go toward:
Contingency reserves for operational stability
Capital projects (e.g., Dining Hall construction)
Maintenance and improvements for better devotee experience
All financial decisions are made by the Management Committee in accordance with temple bylaws, with full transparency to the community.
Are the artists performing free of cost as this is a temple event?
No. The artists are exclusively travelling to perform for our temple and charge a professional fee for their performances.
Can we sing along with the artists?
For the comfort of the artists and to maintain sound quality, attendees are not allowed to sing along on stage. However, audience participation through clapping and cheering is encouraged.
Is there a dress code?
Yes. Attendees are expected to dress appropriately, maintaining the decorum of a temple event.
Can we bring our kids for free?
Children over 2 years of age require a ticket. Kids under 2 may attend free of charge but must be seated on a parent’s lap.
Can I choose any name for the Donor Wall?
Yes. Donors may specify the name (individual, family, or business) to be displayed on the Donor Wall.
Is babysitting available?
No. Babysitting services are not provided. Parents are responsible for supervising their children throughout the event.
Is transportation provided?
No. Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the venue.
In what languages will the artists perform?
The performance will include a balanced mix of Indian languages. The selection will be guided by the audience composition and ticket purchases.
Can we bring food from outside?
No. Outside food is not permitted. However, refreshments will be available for purchase and can be enjoyed in designated dining areas.
